Tree stumps can be left in the ground after any felling work. Leaving stumps can cause problems with suckering when new shoots arise from the trunk and existing roots. Dead stumps can also host various root diseases.

We can remove tree stumps by:-
Stump grinding will mechanically grind out the main root plate of any stump and leave a fine sawdust. Some roots will inevitably be left in the ground but the majority should eventually rot down. We can grind the main root plate to a depth you require.
Shallow grinding between 8 - 10 inches is normally sufficient for laying turf. Deeper grinding may be required if replanting or landscaping.
The sawdust from stump grinding can be left to fill the hole, used in mulch in other areas of your garden or we can remove and recylce the sawdust.
